Four hooves, scored one by one

An assessment follows the way you work around the horse. You take one hoof at a time, score what you see and write it down while you are still standing there.

Start where you are

Start an assessment from the horse, from today’s booking or from the next visit on the home screen. If you get interrupted, the app keeps what you have done so far, and you carry on where you left off.

Seven things on every hoof

The four hooves are laid out the way you see them from above, front left and front right at the top, hind left and hind right below. Open a hoof and score frog, sole, heels, bars, quarters, toe and cartilages from 1 to 9. A slider with plus and minus buttons makes it quick to land on exactly the right number.

When all seven are filled in, the app shows the average for that hoof. Pulse and hoof testers are noted separately, from 0 to 3, and do not count towards the average.

Notes, drawings and recommendations

Every hoof has its own notes, and you can draw on a picture of the hoof to show exactly where something is. At the end you write your treatment and product recommendations for the owner, and book the next visit straight from the assessment.

Would you rather talk than type? On most newer phones you can speak your notes instead. Your voice is turned into text on the phone itself and never leaves it.

Signed by the client

When you are done, the client signs with a finger on your phone. The assessment is then locked, so what the owner signed is what stays. If something needs changing afterwards, you open it again and the client signs again.
