Appointments

Book a visit

Create a booking, let the app email the confirmation and the reminder, and cancel or mark a no-show when plans change.

Help center › Appointments

A booking ties a time to a client and one or more of their horses. The app can email the client a confirmation and a reminder, so you do not have to.

Create the booking

Tap “Create” and choose “New booking”. You can also start from “Appointments”.

Fill in:

  • “Customer”, who you are visiting.
  • “Horses”, one or more of that client’s horses.
  • “Date”, “Start time” and, if you like, “End time (optional)”.
  • “Notes (private, not in email)”, for yourself. The client never sees them.

Tap “Save”.

Confirmation and reminder

Two switches at the bottom of the form are on from the start:

  • “Send confirmation email”, which sends the client an email about the booking.
  • “Send reminder 24h before”, which sends the client a reminder the day before.

Turn either off if the client does not want it. If the client has no email address, nothing can be sent, and the booking shows a note about it. Adding the address to the client afterwards does not send anything by itself: open the booking, tap “Edit”, check that both switches are on and tap “Save”.

If you book without signal, the booking is saved on the phone and the confirmation goes out once the phone is back online.

When plans change

Open the booking:

  • “Edit” changes time, horses or notes.
  • “Cancel booking” cancels it. If a confirmation was sent, the client gets a cancellation email.
  • “Mark as no-show” records that the client did not turn up.

On the day

Open the booking and tap “Start evaluation”. The evaluation is tied to the booking’s horse, so you do not need to look anything up. If the booking has several horses, the app asks which one you are starting with.
